Resources for Reporting Violence

CATA encourages the use of peer and community-based collectives in the reporting of violence (especially gender based violence) and the use of these peer and community resources if reporting it to an authoritative body.

This means using the bad date report in Vancouver, BC (operated by WISH but used by many agencies), the violent offender sheet operated by EGADZ in Saskatoon, SK,  the use of Maggies in Toronto, ON.

CATA recognizes that our current legal and justice systems do not provide safety or justice to marginalize folx and in most cases, gives permission to exploit, abuse and violently assault the communities we seek to stand in solidarity with.

If you have information, resources, guidelines or collectives that you think is helpful and CATA should add to this page please reach out to us and let us know: noterfsnoswerfs@ pm.me
